Three possible reasons: (a) scope gap (Steelbuilders' $39k may not include bracing, base plates, gusset plates); (b) Cedar's price includes installation which Steelbuilders' doesn't; (c) Steelbuilders is over-estimating or under-scoping. Need Steelbuilders formal quote to compare apples-to-apples. Decision required by 4 Sep.
